About the School

General Theme is for children to enjoy the feeling of “Dance” and to move with grace and at the same time follow a syllabus.

The School Terms are ten weeks with a break for half term

The School Shows are held at the Camberley Theatre and all pupils are encouraged to take part

Pianist we have regular practises with pianists for examinations

Sweatshirts - T Shirts - Vest Tops

with the school logo on, are worn for class by all pupils except unders 5’s

Theatre Trips

are organised every

term to watch either

ballet or a musical, as in

this busy world, so many children have never been to the “Live Theatre

Fetes and Cabarets

every summer we are invited to

dance at numerous school and Church

Fetes, and senior pupils are occasionally

invited to dance in cabarets for private

functions and to model for fashion shows at

schools and for private clothing companies

Annual Summer School

is organised at the local venues

The dance workshop is for boys and girls between

8 and 19 years to learn Tap, Modern, Street and other styles of dance

Surrey Centre Royal Academy of Dancing

events are supported by the school, as Miss Lorna Timms was Chairman of the centre in 1995
